Guido Fawkes (Anonymous)SPES, the deity of hope & prosperity. Now, the newest, smallest & first ever build your own UK Political Party. Time for change in the UK, a revolution.

1) Stop the wealthy corporate and individual tax dodgers. It is easy, but the Tories, Labour and Lib Dems refuse because they and their backers dodge UK taxes too.

2) Bye bye unelected upper house (Lords) & monarch. The Queen / her progeny can be ceremonial heads of state / ambassadors & stand for election as president if they want.

3) Get rid of the class and present honours system. You are not inferior to others, nor others to you. The class system breeds nothing but bad attitude amongst us all.

4) Stop spending billions on elitist / wannabe empire projects. Put the money into the NHS, schools, universities, social care, leisure, emergency services, defence (but not aggression).

5) Abolish lower income taxes & TV licenses. Have a true luxury rate VAT. Tax money & job exports. Tax pollution. Double tax dodgers. Privatize Westminster, Whitehall & Royal Estates.

6) Reform the electoral system (a win win option does exist). Return fraudulently acquired own to rent properties to the housing market. Double the rates for empty residential property.

7) Incentivize businesses, especially those that export & contribute to tomorrow. Reform welfare, prisons, foreign policy. Make Britain Great again. or Create an Account

Radiation  Paradise Papers - Tax avoidance / evasion - VAT Threshold
Ah, but here it comes. Implications for many well known celebrities, including the Queen of England. Tax avoidance for the wealthy, especially the very wealthy, partly exposed by the Paradise Papers.

But I really, REALLY object on two counts to all of this.

1) Tax avoidance is legal tax evasion. If you are wealthy, you can legally avoid paying taxes. If you are not wealthy, you can not. Plain and simple. For me tax avoidance and evasion are exactly the same thing, just the former is tolerated by our government, whether they be Labour, Conservative or whatever. Why is that? It is easy enough to tax “money exports”, so why don't any of them do it?

Well, most complicit, most to lose are the Tories and their wealthy friends, family and backers of course. “Come on minister, you can't tax the investors any more because they will simply move tax domiciles, and the UK will lose as a result". Which is BS by the way. If you earn money in the UK, paying yourself in the Bahamas only to then pay yourself in the UK (by way of a loan that you never repay), maybe legal, but it is tax evasion. And you can cure it by taxing the money as it first leaves the UK. But too many Tories owe their own hidden fortunes, and their party's own sponsors to this wheeze.

Even Labour have members and supporters, including their own beloved unions that benefit from offshore tax havens.

In short, the government, no matter what colour tie they wear, do not want to change the wheeze. Oh, they talk about combatting tax evasion, but “strangely” this involves foreigners, foreign corporations, not Brits.

Look at where the Queen has invested, some of the dodgy companies that have benefited from her pile of cash.

The system and government sucks, and it will not change without a revolution in governance, period.

2) While the tax avoiding / evading wealthy are exposed, the UK's chancellor is looking at how he can suck yet more blood out of the people that can not afford to tax avoid offshore; that's right, the poor schleps called the working and lower-middle classes. Philip Hammond is planning to do away with the VAT threshold that many small businesses, including those forced into the self-employed “Gig economy” rely upon to make ends meet, just. While “advisors” to the treasury (no doubt people who can afford offshore tax avoidance) are spinning this as a way of fighting tax evasion by people who, quote, work 3 months and then go on holiday for 9 months so they do not pay any VAT (as they keep their business levels below the VAT threshold), they are in fact targetting the struggling small businesses and self-employed of our country. And, if you are in any doubt, their example of someone who goes on holiday for 9 months shows how ludicrous their spin is, because such people would then not be tax resident in the UK. And anyway, with the VAT threshold at £85,000 of business, if you are a trader with a typical 25% nett profit margin, if you hit £84,000, your pre-tax earnings would currently only be £21,000 a year.

Now, if the VAT Threshold is abolished, unless your customers are prepared to pay 20% extra for whatever it is you sell (and let us suppose that they are not so generous, that they are consumers that look at the final price, not businesses that can claim the VAT back, and not least because increasing prices by 20% would dramatically increase inflation), basically small businesses will be expected to eat the 20% VAT forced upon them. Which leaves them with what? Worked backwards, forcing small businesses to charge VAT in their sales without their being able to actually pass this on to customers, equates to robbing them of 16.67% of their income, which means their profit margin, their wages would go down to £6,997.20 a year.

And, again, let us not forget that these people are often those forced out of real work into the Gig / self-employed economy, so already they have no paid holiday time, no employee benefits.

It is a sick joke. This country needs a revolution, not an election. All the political parties do is tinkle with the percentages, not go after the real money, the real tax evaders, including the Queen to Mrs Browns Boys TV series actors. And just look who is paying for the series “Mrs Browns Boys”. Why, it is the BBC. And who pays them? Why, it is the poor schleps stuck here paying taxes, including the BS back door tax known as the TV license fee.

Revolution I say, Revolution.
